Tony Roepcke - Head Coach - 4th Season

Tony Roepcke enters his fourth year at the helm of the Scots' baseball program.

Roepcke spent the previous four years as an assistant to long-time Head Baseball Coach Kirk Kelley and played three years in the Scots outfield for Kelley from 2003-05. He became the oldest player to wear a Lyon uniform, and at age 33, was the oldest player in NAIA history to hit a grand slam.

He graduated from Lyon in '05 with a degree in art.

Roepcke is married to Jeanne and they have one son, Talan.

 
 
Robbie Holmes Image
Robbie Holmes - Assistant Coach - 20th Season

Holmes, originally from Oklahoma City, Okla., enters his 20th year as Lyon College's assistant coach.

Holmes played collegiate baseball at St. Mary of the Plains College in Kansas and summer ball in Topeka, Kan. and Oklahoma City.

Before Lyon, Holmes coached Elkhart, Kan. of the Jayhawk League.

He is married to Michelle, a 1998 graduate of Lyon College.

Gary Sevier - Assistant Coach - 5th Season

Sevier is entering his fifth season assisting the Lyon College baseball team and his second year as Recruiting Coordinator.

Sevier spent the previous six years as an active duty member of the United States Army with multiple combat deployments.

He completed his undergraduate work at Lyon College in May of 2011, Majoring in History, with a Minor in Political Science. He completed his Masters Degree in December 2012 from Missouri State University in Sports Management.

Sevier is married to Amy, a 2011 graduate of Lyon College and they have one son, Rourke.
