Ray Green Image
Ray Green - Head Coach - 4th Season

Coach Ray Green is in his fourth season at the helm of the Scots volleyball program and received his B.A. in Photography from Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, Va.

Prior to Lyon, Green served as the head coach of NCAA Division I Manhattan College from 2004-2007. At Manhattan College, Green amassed a record of 39-76. His 2006 Lady Jaspers' team was MAAC Tournament semifinalists. Green's players earned four All-Mid Atlantic Athletic Conference selections and 15 MAAC All-Academic nods.

Before Manhattan College, Green was an assistant men's and women's volleyball coach at Rutgers University in Newark, N.J. from 2001-2004.

Green started his head-coaching career at Douglas S. Freeman High School in Richmond, Va., where he built one of the most respected prep teams in the state. In 2000, his Freeman team finished fifth in the state championships. In 1999, his squad finished third.

Katie Beineke - Assistant Coach - 1st Season

Beineke begins her first year as assistant volleyball coach and administrative assistant to athletics.

Beineke, a Jonesboro native, did her undergraduate work at Lyon College graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources Management and a PE minor.

Following her time at Lyon she served as a graduate assistant for the Physical Education Department at Arkansas State University while receiving her Masters Degree in Sports Administration in 2011. Beineke also coached Arkansas Juniors17's Volleyball Club in Jonesboro.
