POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. -- The Lyon College Scots' volleyball team was swept in a pair of 3-1 matches on the final day of the College of the Ozarks Tournament.

Lyon (2-5) lost the first match on Saturday to John Brown University by a score of 25-22, 22-25, 20-25 and 21-25. The Scots dropped the second match to Central Methodist by a 24-26, 17-25, 25-18 and 20-25.

Scots Meghann LaBorn and Audrey Myers had 12 kills each in the first game. Teammate Myers added five aces and 21 digs and LaBorn had four blocks. Chelsea Hinton also had 10 kills and Danielle Reed picked up 41 assists, two aces and 12 digs.

Hinton led the way for all attackers in the Central Methodist match with 12 kills, while LaBorn and Myers chipped in nine apiece. LaBorn earned three blocks and Reed dished out 33 assists.

Next up for the Scots is a Monday tri-match at Ouachita Baptist. Lyon plays Philander Smith at 5 p.m. and faces off against the host team at 7 p.m.
