BATESVILLE, Ark. - High school boys team basketball camp action will be coming to Lyon College later this week when the institution hosts nine varsity and four junior varsity squads in the 2012 White River Shoot-Out in Becknell Gymnasium.

Action in the three-day affair will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, with two games taking place simultaneously as Southside takes on Viola and Thayer battles Pocahontas. Games will continue until 4:15 p.m., with the day wrapping up with the 11th game as Bradford squares off with Pocahontas.

Other teams in action on Wednesday include Cedar Ridge, the Pocahontas JV and the Southside junior varsity.

There will be 19 games taking place on Thursday, with Viola and Thayer battling at 12:30 p.m., while Pocahontas faces West Plains. The final game of the day takes place at 7:15 p.m., with the West Plains JV White squad taking on the Pocahontas junior varsity.

Other teams participating on Thursday include Cedar Ridge, Bradford, Midland, Southside, Naylor, Pocahontas JV, West Plains JV Red and West Plains JV White.

There are nine games slated for Friday's final day, with Bradford taking on Southside junior varsity at 10:30 a.m. The day will end with Southside and Midland squaring off at 2:15 p.m.

Games will consist of two 16-minute halves, with a running clock. The clock will stop as designated times in the final minute of each half. The first overtime, if needed will be one minute, with sudden death after that.

There is no charge for admission for the general public.
