Lyon College men's basketball signs Jordan McAllister of Panama City, Florida. The 5'10 point guard comes to Lyon from Holmes County High School in Bonifay, Florida. McAllister averaged 15 points, 6 assists, and 3 rebounds, and 2 steals per game. McAllister played club for the Hamareebee Dragons, Gulf Coast Panic, Atlanta Express, and the Panama City Elite. In 2009 McAllister was on the YBOA National All-Tournament team in Lakeland, Florida. In 2012 McAllister competed in the Freedom All-Star Classic, was in the 2012 Florida Panhandle All-Star Game. McAllister was team captain for his high school team as well as AAU team Captain for two different teams, and was a scholar athlete of the week on WMBB TV 13. 

McAllister was also an Honors Graduate,a member of the Drama Club, and AICE Honors Selectee. McAllister plans to major in Business and Economics at Lyon.
 
Assistant coach Matt Creamer stated "Jordan is a great fit for Lyon College. He gets it done on the floor and in the classroom. We are excited to have Jordan. He is exactly what we need to accomplish our goals. We are headed in the right direction".
