Head men's basketball coach Kevin Jenkins adds Trevor Martin to the 2012 class. The 6'2 guard is a native of Vilonia, Arkansas. Martin averaged 22.5 points per game, 6 rebounds, and shot 86% from the freethrow line. Martin is a 5A All-State player, two time 5A All -Conference, named the #1 player in Central Arkansas in the Central AR Hoops Magazine, named player of the game in the St. Joseph Classic. Martin was also named player of the game in the Central Arkansas Classic. Martin was also a two-time All-State Track member.

Head coach Kevin Jenkins stated "We are very excited that Trevor will be joining the Scots next season. He is the type of student athlete we need here at Lyon. Trevor put up good numbers in high school and we are looking for him to continue that success at Lyon".
