Head Coach Ben Parman signs another former Arkansas Rush player Kara Blackwell to his 2012 class. Blackwell a native of Conway, Arkansas and will be joining current teammate Brittanie Ashcraft, as they look to reunite with Coach Parman and begin their journey with the Scots.

Kara has played for the Arkansas Rush for the past 5 years. And is a current member of the Conway High School varsity soccer team. During the past 3 season, Conway High School has won 3 consecutive conference championships and won the 2011 Arkansas State High School Championship.

Coach Parman stated "I am excited that I have the opportunity to work with Kara. Kara is going to be a dynamic player in our midfield, and I look for her to use her experience to help our squad in 2012!"

Kara plans to major in Biology and then go on to Physical Therapy school after her four years at Lyon.
