Batesville, AR. - 4/14/2012- The Lyon College Baseball team hosted Conference foe Union University this weeknd and were defeated 6-5 in extra innings,12-3, and 9-2.
The Scots are now 26-25 overall and 6-15 in Conference.
In game one the Scots were led by Henry Castaigne going 3-5 with 1 triple, and 3 runs, Bryan Lynn going 3-4 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI's, and Jim Gossett going 2-4. Pitcher Talan Roepcke threw 7 innings and added 4 strikeouts.
In game two the Scots were led by Bryan Lynn going 1-3 with 1 double and 1 RBI, Henry Castaigne going 1-2 with 1 RBI, and Will Lindsey going 1-2 with 1 RBI.
In the final game of the series, the Scots were led by Chris Johnson going 1-2 with 1 double and 2 runs, Colby Rogers going 1-3 with 1 double, and Bryan Lynn going 1-2 with 2 RBI's.
The Scots return to action on April 17th at College of the Ozarks at 2pm. Go Scots!!
