Head coach Ben Parman signs goalkeeper Brittanie Ashcraft of Conway, Arkansas for the 2012 season. Ashcraft played club soccer for the Arkansas Rush and on Coach Parman's Arkansas Rush '94 team that finished 2nd in the nation in the U16 division in Murfreesboro, Tennessee in 2010. Ashcraft comes to Lyon from Conway High School. Brittanie a 4 year starter has been a part of very successful high school career, winning 3 Conference Championships (09,10,11) and 1 State Championship (2011). In her freshman year, Conway High School went 17-1-2 overall losing the first round of the state tournament. In her sophomore year, Conway High School went 19-2-1 and Ashcraft was awarded as an All-State Goalkeeper and team MVP. Her junior year, the team went 22-0 over the season Ashcraft was named team captain, and was awarded All-Conference after only allowing 6 goals all season in route to a state championship, allowing 0 goals at the state tournament. In her senior year, once again Ashcraft was awarded the role of captain and is looking for another state championship ring to add to her collection.

Coach Parman stated "I am very excited that I am going to have a chance to continue working with Brittanie for the next 4 years. I feel that her club experience and competitive high school team have prepared her to compete at the next level. Brittanie has tremendous potential and I am very excited to see where her career will take her!"
