Batesville, AR. - 2/21/2012- The Lyon College Baseball team hosted another non-conference double-header against Williams Baptist College today. The Scots took game one 9-3 and finished the day with a strong lead taking game two 13-2.
The Scots are now 10-4 overall.
In game one for the Scots the winning pitcher was Colton McSpadden (1-0) throwing a complete game with 3 strikeouts. The Scots were led this afternoon by Bryan Lynn going 2-3 with 3 RBI's and 1 run and 7 putouts, while Henry Castaigne went 2-3 with 1 run and 1 RBI.
In game two of the day, the Scots were led once again by Bryan Lynn going 2-3 with 2 runs and 3 RBI's and 10 putouts, while catcher Nathan Gutierrez went 2-3 with 1 RBI. The winning pitcher was Josh McNatt with 2 strikeouts.
The Scots return to non-conference action on February 24th at home against Hannibal-LaGrange University. The double header will begin at 1pm on Friday. Go Scots!!
