MAYFIELD, Ky. - The2011 All-TranSouth men's soccer teams have been announced, and each of the conference's seven eligible programs are represented.

Melvin Belong led the Bethel Wildcats to the TranSouth regular season and tournament championships, and he has been rewarded by being named the 2011 TranSouth men's soccer coach of the year. Belong improved his record at the helm of the Bethel program to 69-23-9 by posting a 13-2-2 record this season.

Also representing the Wildcats is the 2011 TranSouth Player of the Year, Mario Vila Boa. Vila Boa scored six goals and tallied three assists on the campaign. Vila Boa was one of three Wildcats to receive votes for the Player of the Year award, taking three of the six votes cast for Bethel players.

Martin Methodist College checks in with the 2011 TranSouth Freshman of the Year, Danny Dunleavy. Dunleavy appeared 15 times for the RedHawks, scoring twice and tallying an assist while anchoring the RedHawks' defense.

Bethel and Union University placed three players on the All-TranSouth first team, with Lyon College, Martin Methodist, and Freed-Hardeman University each getting two first team selections. Mid-Continent University and Cumberland University each had one player on the first team as well.

Cumberland, Bethel, and Martin Methodist each had three players chosen to the All-TranSouth second team, with Freed-Hardeman and Mid-Continent garnering two such selections apiece. Union Also had a second team selection.
