Little Rock, Ark. - 8/20/2011 - Lyon College (Ark.) men's golf team stands in at seventh place in the Harding Bison Fall Classic at the Stonelinks Golf Course. The Scots posted a team score of 309 (+21) after round one on Monday and improved on Tuesday posting a team score of 306 (+19). Lyon collectively shot 615 for the tournament placing them above Freed-Hardeman and Arkansas Monticello.
Justin Long placed 21st and led the Scots posting a 76-73 for a total of 149 (+5) for the tournament. David Pryde finished 23rd with a score of 150, Michael Shedd added a score of154 placing him in 31st spot. Brent Bloodworth shot a 162 and Nathan Whitlow shot a 172 for the tournament.
Up next the Scots will travel to Blue Mountain College on October 19, 2011.
