BATESVILLE, Ark. – Former Lyon College baseball standout, Griffin Glaude (2014-15), made his Triple-A debut for the Buffalo Bisons, an affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, on Wednesday night. The right-handed pitcher made an appearance out of the bullpen late in the Bisons' game against the Columbus Clippers.
Glaude pitched two-thirds of an inning on Wednesday night at Columbus and allowed an unearned run on one hit.
Glaude opened up the 2017 season with the Lansing Lugnuts in Single-A before his promotion. He compiled a record of 4-2 and an ERA of 4.25 in 17 appearances out of the bullpen for the Lugnuts.
"It is pretty awesome being able to play with guys that have played at the big league level and just getting to learn from them," said Glaude. "How they go about their daily business and to get themselves ready each day, that is the part of being in Triple-A that is pretty cool to me."
