Mayfield, KY. - 4/7/2012- The Lyon College Baseball team traveled to Mayfield, Kentucky to take on Mid-Continent University and were defeated in the series. The Scots took game one 6-2, but were defeated in game two and three 7-6, and 9-6.

The Scots are now 26-21 overall and 6-12 in Conference.

In game one the Scots were led by Bryan Lynn going 2-3 with 1 double and 3 runs, Henry Castaigne going 2-5 with 1 double and 1 run, and Michael Armenteros going 1-3 with 4 RBI's. Winning pitcher Talan Roepcke threw 8 .2 innings while only allowing 4 hits and added 5 strikeouts.

In game two of the series, the Scots were led by Jim Gossett going 3-4 with 1 double, 1 RBI, and 1 run, Roger Glaude going 2-6 with 1 double, and 2 RBI's, Henry Castaigne with 1 double, and Michael Armenteros going 2-5 with 1 RBI. Pitcher Josh McNatt threw in three strikeouts to the mix.

In game three, the Scots were led by Michael Armenteros going 2-4 with 1 homerun, 2 RBI's, and 2 runs, Chris Johnson going 1-2 with 1 triple, 2 RBI's, and 2 runs, Bryan Lynn with 1 double, and 1 RBI.

The Scots return to action on April 10th at home against Harding University at 2pm. Go Scots!!
